Assalamo Alikum my dear fellows
(This question is for LAHORE CITY)
The original windscreen of my Suzuki WagonR got cracked
recently and needs to be replaced now.
I have already visited multiple NON-DEALERSHIP shops (one on
Montgomery road, other I called on phone), they all have the same statement. Local
for 4,500, Chinese copy for 6,500. Some even say Chinese for 7,500
All of them also have the same statement that Local will
blur after 2 years, Chinese won’t.
Now how am I SUPPOSED to know which one is local & which
Chinese? These shopkeepers don’t tell details and their attitude altogether
changes when I ask them for details.
I am hereby requesting respected members of this forum to
either please suggest an AIK NUMBER, honest windshield dealer (in LAHORE).
Or clarify the concern which I have written above. In any
case I do not want to go to Suzuki dealership they will charge me probably 18
to 19 thousand for this replacement, I do not have that much budget.
Any information you can give, will be greatly appreciated.
