did you change its transmission while swapping? 2sz-fe comes with CVT i think, Can we use 1sz-fe gearbox with 2sz-fe?

no need to change transmission, only assembly will be changed and V-Belt. up till now used 5800 KMs alkhmdulilh without any issue.

ok so i have to buy only Engine Block with Valve head assembly and mate it to existing transmission and i am good to go? do i have to change the ECU or any wiring?

Yeh you have only buy the following part and

u can use old transmission, wiring, ecu, air filter box, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, injectors, coils of same 1sz-fe. and if 2sz-fe is from 2005 -2010 model then timing side cover will be changed to accommodate power steering pump.

Yes its working fine from last 3 months, During this time I drove it on motorway up to 130 km/h easily, in hilly areas and city drive. following is the overall fuel milage.

I am using 2szfe in 2001 vitz for last 2 years and totally satisfied. Gear and ecu is of 1szfe as 2szfe is with cvt only. Recently i removed hydraulic steering and added EPS got orignal EPS for this model from Sultan da kho Rawalpindi. Bolt on fitting. Removal of hydraulic pump added a lil more power to engine.
