Hi there guys i wanted to ask if one gets an rx8 with blown engine, how much performing will the swap of 2jz and RB26. Will it have some problems or setup will be smooth.Above all will these engine fit in rx8. Members into swaping please coment if some one has tried it in pakistan or abroad please share.

To Me.....2JZ Is Favourite As It Can Be Boosted Quiet High On Stock Bottom END....!!

On Other Hand Rb26 Being Also Capable Of Making 500+Hp On Stock Setup But Its Not As Solid And Can't Bear Beating As 2JZ Can....!!

2JZ Being Bigger In Displacement Can Spool Turbo Quicker...Thats Also The Positive Point....!! VVT Is Also There To Support And Make Impressive Overall Power Curve....!!

I Think 2JZ Got More Options And Is More Solid Than RB....However Its Also Popular In Swaps As RB As RB Parts Are Quiet Rear Find Also.....!!

My Votes Are WITH 2JZ.....!! Just Make Arrangment To Lay All The Power Of 2jZ On Road As Supra Itself Can't Hold 2jZ

@faiz: read ur statement again,4efte always came in stock turbo spec,it wasnt "turboed" to compensate for the rx8,4efte engines comes in starlet for ur info,now think about power to weight ratio of starlet with that of rx8 and think what would be the end result,also keeping in mind that the 4efte came in FWD,not RWD,he would had make a custom diff for it,imo anything is possibe u just need the damn resources(money,time).

@top racer: why spend big bucks when rx7 with 1jzt is capable enough to make one's ball push inside with torque and power,add nitrous and roll on like aman
