I am having a liana 2006 lxi 1.3 variant since 2015 and got changed its gaskit about 3 times and also got its head faced last year. But it started reducing water again and this time oil also. Oil and water was mixing and according to my observations engine life was over. So i decided to change engine assembly at last.
I visited chah sultan and mitthho khan saddar in rawalpindi. Chah sultan was bit expensive but i suspected that in mitho khan they were repairing old engines. I saw many of them with opened engines and repairing them.
In chah sultan i found a whole good condition engine m15a which is 1500cc. He was demanding 38k for assembly only. So assembly was separated from whole engine and got it in 33k.
M15a assembly: 33k
Colis: 5.5k
Engine pulley bearing: 2k
Engine to radiator hoses: 2k
Petrol injectors were included in assembly cost.
Whole costed about 42.5k but i paid 40k for all these stuff.
Got changed the assembly by my own mechanic because there was a trust issue on the one's present in chah sultan.
Got replaced clutch and pressure plates which costed about 10k.
Now my liana is 1500. Pick and smoothness is increased. Now testing it and will share further experience.
