Swapping 3sge in 4afe corona

Salaam! I bought a 3SGE 3rd gen from Saddar Madina market (RWP) from Muslim Khan and Irshad Khan. Muslim Khan assured it's a bolt on but it was not! I returned it after a lot of mess... long story but Muslim and Irshad cheated me about bolt on fitting. I wasted 30k for nothing. Now pls tell me which is the best reliable option for my Corona. Currently it has 4AFE auto. And I want to keep it auto. I believe all A series engines will be bolt on. I called Khalid in Lahore and he said 4AGE will bolt on and I can use my own auto transmission of 4AFE... now again this sounds strange... it's a daily driven family car. Also going on long routes. Is 7AFE the better option or 4AGE BT will be good?

Wailaikum Assalam, i think we talked before.
You need a daily driven setup then 4afe will be better. 4age is performance engine not ment for mileage.
But the biggest problem is getting any of them in good condition. All A series engines are very old and busted.

What is the issue with your current engine? When I swapped 7AFE, these 4AGE or even 4EFTE are mostly were in bad condition. If you want to keep ur current tranny than find a clean 7AFE. Find aclean engine From pindi or peshawar. Uncut wiring and proper wiring job.
7AFE has a good low end torque and better than 4AFE or 5AFE.

Earlier gens of 7AFE also suffered from oil burning issues that was fixed in later gens so keep that in mind and find latest gen the one that came with coils instead of distributor and with lean burn function as well.

No issue with my current 4AFE... it's just that it's underpowered for a heavy car like corona. Looks like 7AFE is the best option.
