Assalam o Alaikum,

Need advice, i am getting a Terios Kid 2000 model in manual tranmission for 6 lac rupees. The issue is that its engine is swapped with 1000cc non-efi (of Margalla i guess) and registered on the book. Will it be a wise decision to buy the car and swapping the engine again to convert it to auto transmission?

Wa Alaikum Salam.

I think not a good thing to go for such a mess. Would suggest to avoid going for it.

Then swapping the engine and transmission again, highly not recommended.

All such endeavours will bring different issues and headaches, than goodness.

This car sounds more of a project car.
Better stay away from it and get good daily car for reliability.
