Last Friday to Sunday (25th, 26th & 27th October 2019) I did a family tour to

Lahore > M2 > Swat Motorway > Chakdara > Madyan > Bahrain > Kalam > Ushu > Mataltan > Paluka > Mahudand Lake > Saifullah Lake > Kalam > Kandol Lake > Kalam > Bahrain > Chackdara > Swat Mootrway > M2 > Home (Lahore)

Total expense = 33000 including everything means everything means everyyyyyyyyything....Hotel Honey Moon (Luxury room rent = 2000 per night)
Total distance covered = 1380 Kilometers
Total pictures captured = 1741 (Huawei Mate 10 Lite + Sony Cyber-shot 16mp)

Highlights

Kalam road is 70% fully carpeted and local community told that it will all be done in next two months which I highly doubt. Three or four very very very bad patches ... but cars can cross with a little care & safety ...
Kandol jeep trek is open. Jeep will take you to Kandol lake & will drop you just 500 meters before the lake. Prado 2004 model took 6000 for round trip which is reasonable considering the off season and sensitivity of the trek. This trek is not for faint light hearted tourists however I took even my 3 years old kiddo to the lake and Oh boy Oh boy he enjoyed that a lot. See it yourself in the pictures ...

I always use to stay here in Honeymoon Hotel. The owner is very humble person. No comparison of this hotel with any other in Kalam.

Masha'Allah sir you've a blessed family and your trip went well .. I've been to kundol and done through trekking its not easy but not that hard as well but with family I'll not recommend and I heard about the jeep track from FB so now those who don't like to trek and wish to visit Kundol lake now they have an opportunity to go there.
