There was strict security at the entrance of main festival place. Army kept all the mobile phones by issuing tokens. I didn't brought one (left that in hotel, whats the use of carrying mobile when there is no signal) but other friends had to keep it with army.
As we climbed the stairs, we were stunned to see the crowd. All the place was completely jammed with tourists and local people. Somehow we made our way inside the ground.
It was a ground on which a "bara dari" type of structure was constructed by government recently. There was a chief guest stage setup where some high rank army men were sitting and also one SIKH guy with large feather in his turban.
At first I thought he was some guest from India but later found that he was minorities minister of KPK, Sardar Sooran Singh.
Here it was true festival environment. Everyone was happy like we are on our EID day. They were meeting each other and getting happy. It was terrific to watch all this.
Now again there is nothing much to narrate as next couple of hours again we took pictures only so now the pictures will speak for a while..
