For complete swat tour... one must go in June/July

Still I have no Plan... Shayad Feb ma chakar lagay.... Upto Malam Jabba Skiing..

I haven't visit swat before. So, Just a plan to visit Malam Jabba in the last week of Jan or first week of Feb. This will be a short trip for only 3 days.

Lahore - Mangora
Mangora - Malam Jaba
Malam Jaba - Mangora
Mangora - Lahore

Anyone have some better plan for 3 days?

I think you can also visit White Palace Maraghzar & Bahrain (if route is clear), you just need one day for both places as there are not enough to see behind Kalam. In Maragzar, there is only White Palace & Bahrain offers meeting point of two rivers i.e. Swat River & River coming from Kandol Lake, both are beautiful rivers. Last time I visited Swat in 2005 last week of MAR & I did manage to reach till Bahrain only, route to Kalam was cleared on 31st Mar but we had to come back on that day.

Further to my last post, you can plan your trip as under:

Lahore - Mingora (Catch the night bus, you will be in Mingora next day around 8AM)
Mingora - Maragzar - Malam Jabbah (stay at Malam Jabbah & leave next day)
Malam Jabbah - Bahrain
Bahrain - Pindi - Lahore

you can hire Toyota corolla & other cars from Mingora, in past jeeps were only required for journey ahead of kalam but don't know the current conditions.

rana sb, that malam jabba building is still there, or destroyed, as it was a head quarter for taliban .......and attacked by pak army.......

raheel bhai ! it was not the head quarter of taliban.it was a very beautiful hotel builted with co op of austria govt. but destroyed by taliban.bad luck.
