Swift 2013 automatic car heats up

Here I am narrating a story to let people know how hypocrite we are .. we have no ethical values in our everyday dealings. I spent a year in foreign country where you can deal with common people without any fear of dishonesty and blatant frauds. Here I was expecting the same.but... I bought a swift used car (2013 model) last month. i sensed that something is wrong with the cooling system. But is wasn’t that obvious as I was using the car for commuting to office here in Islamabad. Weeks ago I planned to travel Gilgit for Eid. It was just on the Hazara Motorway around some 40 km to Abbottabad, I noticed that the temperature needle was hitting the red line . I immediately pulled over on the side of road. The water was literally boiling inside the radiator and expansion tank. ., the motorway police came by and helped with topping up with some water. To my surprise a motorway mobile workshop also reached there . The mobile mechanic told me that he can fix it ...it will take half an hour . I asked him if he could properly fix it ? if not I would rather go to the nearby workshop as I had to travel long distance with my family. The guy seemed so sure as if he had already diagnosed it. It took more than three hours for the guy to dismantle and assemble parts to check the Thermostat. At the end he said there isn’t thermostat valve ...means the previous owner has removed it to to hide the heating issue .Finally he told me “Sir, mera khayal hay ye Radiator ka masla hay ap na mera mashwara maanay isko waha qareebi workshop may lay jakar clean karwaye” he took so long as he was not even having complete tools with him. In the middle he went to bring 10 number paana. What to do ? I had no choice I knew my Eid vacation already ruined by people, first the guy who sold me his car by claiming it is mechanically 100 percent fit. Just buy and drive. (Note: the owner went for performing Umra, I am guessing he is Haji too) . Anyways cutting the story short another mechanic advised me to not take the car to long route . I returned back to Islamabad. Now after Eid I went to the Islamabad Suzuki centre , the mechanic again took no diagnoses steps just by looking at the engine said the problem is with the Gasket so now they started overhauling the engine . They say 12 k is labour cost + 9 k leath work + the unknown which I don’t know yet. I forgot to mention one more thing , the guy at the centre also said I guess the digital odometer is tempered as it is only 44k from 2013. The had some service history there which indicates some dent and paint on the door. Obviously the owner didn’t mention that . Now I hope the car get fixed .

Thermostat valve is removed or bypassed when car cooling system failed to keep it at optimal temperature and rises the temperature. So Desi mechanic simply remove the T valve.
Majority of people who don't maintain their car uses tap water in radiator which ruins the engine and radiator in long run.

Due to excessive over heating Head gasket gets damage easily.

Hope so head gasket replacement and radiator cleaning will solve the issue.

And last thing how previous owners sells you the car by claiming it 100% genuine will definitely get the Reward in this life or hereafter.

Over past 40 years overall NATIONAL character has deteriorated to lowest. To cheat to lie, to seek pleasure from misery of others, and not to miss an opportunity for maximum gain from people in problems.

• sorry for your loss - am sure you have learned a lesson how to survive in Pakistan. Please select a mechanic to repair your vehicle carefully

This is very disturbing. Hopefully you'll tell everything to the next buyer if you plan to sell the car.
