Swift - Alto - Mira - Dayz - Which is the best option to purchase?

Salam brothers,

I was really in favor of getting a white swift 2013-2014 model but then heard that the mileage on average is around 9-10 and is not worth the money.

Now I am pretty tied between these 3 options after swift:
* Daihatsu Mira
* Suzuki Alto
* Nissan Dayz

I love the lights and features of Dayz - also its shape is better than the other 2 options but I would want to learn from user experience - which would be the best calculated choice?

Is there any other car that I should consider..? budget around 12.

I saw that car too - around the same price yes - but that car could have resale problems as it offers all the same options as Alto and Mira - and they both have their market made quite strongly.

I'm using it as my second car and even after driving a civic i still love the drive of this beast its 92bhp 1328cc may cost more in transfer and tax etc but it is way better then jdm 660cc's and i am getting around 14-15 on my daily run from RWP-ISB. Its great on long routes and on motorway

Thanks for posting that out - well 14 on long routes is good - maybe I could cover it till 11-12. My driving is quite economical
I love the drive of Swift - its amazing - I actually became a filer because i would save over 50,000 while transferring.

Do look out for Japanese Wagon R as well if not going for Swift its a really spacious car and I'm getting an average of about 15 intercity it is also a great vehicle

I tried local wagon R - it seemed average when it comes to features - the economy was okayish too - but drive was good - 1000cc. I will look an eye for japanese wagon too.

I am using nissan dayz. Its features and drive are matchless and very good avg plus very spacious. I would suggest to go for nissan dayz

If you want driving pleasure go for swift but surely it lacks exciting features and quality is also not upto the mark but still you will get after sales service like 2 years warranty or 50k kms etc.
If you go for jdm you will get some mouth watering features like airbags traction control push start and good build quality but the drive will be not be good they will feel underpowered which sometimes makes one angry while overtaking and no aftersale services. So it all depends upon your requirements if you are an economical driver who just drive slowly and want nice fuel economy and compact car go for jdm.

I love your answer as it marks key points.

I am planning to get a car that I wouldnt change for atleast 3-5 years.

I love swift's drive but the economy is one heck of an issue - while Mira/Alto/Passo are with luxurious options with fuel economy intact too - I would want to save on fuel but I am just afraid that I'd get bored from the JDM's overall drive in a little while.

If it was you and you were getting car - you'd prefer?

If you can raise your budget slightly more i will recommend you to just leave everything and buy a 2012-2013 toyota vitz. It is the best option to choose from swift, mira, alto etc.
It has a buttery smooth drive and got enough power for daily drive. It is much much more comfortable than the options you have given. I must say it feels much more comfortable than my altis grande.
It will surely give you a decent fuel economy too.
And as vitz has a better resale value it will sell quickly and at a better price as you said you will sell it after 3-5 years.

I would go to buy Vitz anyday anytime - like I love the car ride the interior - everything is so classy - but the problem is i cant find an unregistered vitz in 12 lacs at this moment. Which I means I will have to drop that option.
