Swift glx cvt worth buying?

I was planning to buy glx cvt but saw too many negatives about this car, koi keh ra hai cabin noise bht zyda hai koi keh ra hai pani ki leaking hai koi keh ra hai screen kharab hai kisi ki diggi ki alignment sai ni bla bla.
Koi bnda jo is gari ko longer period of time se use kr ra hai to please rehnumayi karein.
First preference was vezel but swift with too much features and locally assembled got my attention.

vezel .. go for only 2018+ min..

otherwise i know u must be thinking its hybrid fuel saving etc.. but bahi hybrid has own issue too .. in long run kher

for Swift.. i am sharing a owner review about it..its v.fair v.fantantic review. i drove that car found over all good.not great. couple of issues but cabin noise not as such .. like other suzuki cars alto , cutlus... pickup good .. drove with 7 people on board found .. strong car ..handling is good .. cons are. Interior all over plastic and not good quality prone to scartches .. Chasis no in Fender turn off piont and which i guess they forgot then khayal aya oh pai jan hum ne chasis no dala nai.. socha feder main eaasily embossed ho jae wahi kar du..

Yes pls don't buy a vezel unless it's over 2018. My father bought a 2014 model and it was such a pain in the backside. Every 2-3 MTHS it was in the shop

2018 is good now days it real price between 60 and 70 .. people are asking 80 for this but real is between 60 and 70

My main requirement is comfort, swift fascinates me since it’s launch but being a hatchback didn’t let me buy it.

I'm no expert, but I believe it it is a well maintained example with genuine mileage you shouldn't have major issues.

However, it is DCT so you will have to adjust your driving style to it or it can heat up in stop/go traffic. My personal experience is that Pakistani driving is not suited for DCT due to the heavy traffic.

Vezel suspension is pretty stiff which means a harsh ride. Back seat is not comfortable at all. That is one of the main reasons we sold ours is it just wasn't comfortable, even on the motorway whenever crossing one of those bridges, it was very uncomfortable. Front seat passenger and driver, it's fine. But back seat wasn't comfy.

We had to replace the clutch bearing twice and then the entire gear assembly. Not to mention electronic issues. When the AC started failing, I told my dad to just sell it. The engine was fine and it's quite a nice car to drive though. But only for the driver imo

However, my suggestion is that if you can, take one for a drive or have a seat in the back. You will know if you like it or not. That's the only way you will be able to make your decision.

Everyone has a different preference so you may love it. I personally wouldn't buy one again. The only reason my dad liked it is it wasn't as low as a normal car so it was easier for his knees.

How many members? Swift is comfortable for 4 people not for 5 and whts ur budget? Main point .. otherwise i will suggest u. Sonata all the way comfort no match.. although some says civic new one has more space i mean back seat space but still sonata goodies are nice and v.comfortable .. cabin insulation is v.good

City aspire 1.5 all the way brand new .. good car.. comfortable .. for 5 people.... 1.2 cvt is realtively slow and feel a drag..

I dont know but i always prefer brand new car rather then used

If u want features and ur eyeing a used Vezel.

Why not a Elantra? 2022 should come under 6.5 million. Karachi has 6.2 million adds too.

City is also a wonderful option for your budget. Personally raised height cars are a turn of for handling and cornering.

But we have limited options in Pakistan.

In terms of safety 6 airbags Swift has no competition. Other then thoose 6 airbags Swift doesn't offers anything else.

Swift is a good upgrade for Cultus owners. I don't see it as a replacement or even a option against a cuv or a family sedan.

for Brand new yea definatly 1.5 Aspire City , economy wise also good ..

for slightly used u can get corolla , elantra etc.

Own swift new gen, 1 year experience. This is the best car for in city manuverability wise. Decent enough power, GLX has imported front seats, which are far superior than yaris and city. Handling and braking is very good aswell. Fuel economy is where it shines the most. Getting 17kmpl nowadays in karachi with AC.
Cons are the drive is stiff, tyre noise on stock bridgestone tyres. Interior plastic makes creeking noise, headunit randomly dies and needs software update from dealership. Paint quality is subpar. No water leakages etc in my car, maybe in early units.
Overall a great in city car for 4 adults and 1 kid, comfort will be compromised if 5 healthy adults sit.

Brakes do make noise when coming to complete stop, when cold. Braking itself is very good.
