I have recently bought osram cool blue boost 90/100w bulbs for my suzuki swift. I need to know is there any need to change the rellay for bulbs bcz my old lights have a 55/60w wattage..and after applying the osram bulbs ive discovered that they are producing a lot of heat and there is no vision on the road...And is there any chance of electrical hazard on applying 90/100w bulbs on 55/60w wiring..
Yes there is a hazard of it shorting out since wiring is not meant for that sort of power. Why do you need extra high wattage bulbs. stick with normal factory recommended ones
There's a big Fire hazard on using higher power bulb on stock wiring.
Bcz there is no light on the road with stock bulbs.
Now recommend me any other good bulbs which have good vision on the road and no chance of any hazard..
Using H4 koito 90/100 in my swift with relays from last 1 and half year. Never faced any issue and they are going good for me.
From where you got the relays changed..? from the suzuki service center Or from the local car electrition...
And do you faced any dullness in the shine of inner housing of the light due to large ammount of heat dissipation from the bulb..?
Got it changed from a reputed electrician. no dullness or any such thing observed as light assembly is genuine.I haven't noticed any difference in heat dissipation etc.
Can you tell me the electrition name if he is in islamabad.
Get a better brand like osram but same wattage
