If you can afford and maintain one, Vitz is a world class car with world class built and equipment.

Actually every imported car is a much better car, you have to drive to believe.

If you cannot afford an imported car ,swift is good.

In Karachi, you can get any kind of Vitz in every color and package, push start, DVD Navigation and even zero meter (usually people do not buy them because they are expensive due to 0 Depreciation).

You can even buy the RS version, 3 doors or 4wd, a dual VVTI 2ZR-FE is also available for power hungry people to go head on with Altis and 1.8 Civic.

If Pakistan has pathetic roads, leaded petrol with unadvertised RON that clogs CAT converters, depreciating value of rupee and lack of genuine parts and qualified service centers then we cannot say anything about Vitz, it is built and tested as a world car and it sells in Euro market.

1.0L engine is more then enough for city cars, specially for countries where cars as big as Corolla and Lancer are offered with a 1.3L.

Indian Swift which is much more advanced is also offered with a 1.2L.

I have driven a 1.0L A/T Belta, Company maintained on High Octane and it regularly gives 15km on highway and 9-11km in heavy City traffic always A/c.

I think no car can top your vitz as you own one so it is useless to argue with you.
Below are some points to be made:
1. Vitz power can't be compared with swift(1.0 VS 1.3)
2.If you talk about 1.3L then its price is atleast 1.2 million Rs.
3.Swift has 2 years warranty, vitz has none.
4.Average of swift is 12-13 in city and 16-18 on highway(almost same).
5. Build quality of swift is also good.
6.LCD is an add on and doesn't come with all cars.
7.back view cam doesn't come as standard again an add on.
8.Colour option is also in swift.For vitz you will have to search the market and rate varies according to colour.

Now things not available in imported vitz:
1.No alloy rims.
2.Poor quality tyres(Bridgestone with swift).Add the cost of tyres+ alloys.
3.Underpowered.
4.Clearance issue(with 4 passengers it will hit the speedbreakers, u will have to raise it).
5.Easy spare availability for swift.
6.Poor quality music players installed by importers.
7.You can't know about the quality of vehicle, vehicles being imported here are usually of 3-3.5 grade and the dealer will tell you 4.5.
8. Odometer is tempered and rolled back(almost every car).

almost 90% vitz comes with yokohama, good year n dunlop..
my vitz carry 6 passengers daily n it never hit the speedbreakers .. how can u say dat it hits the speedbreaker with 4 passengers?

vitz is the only jdm car whose parts availability is not an issue..

build quality of vitz is way ahead then swift.......

who said dat poor quality music players r installed in jdm.. go n check by urself.. yeh chawal sirf suzuki walay he maar sakte hain jo 4k se ziada ka mp3 player nahi detay aur meri vitz k sath genuine 12k ka lcd player aya hai.. wid gr8 quality sound speakers.........

ofcourse my brake pads were half way thru the 20,000 Kilometers u suggest

i own 1 and its not that good they are ok...although got broken brakes from factory thats how good cultus is...my khyber has every thing batter then it..thats why running power plant in it not in cultus

and lets talk on this in any other topic this will gets off from the main topic

and how brakes are repaired ...we all change the pads

ppl r claiming this is Pakistani Swift and not upto the standards of international one
im just clarifying that the difference between International Swift and the Swift we get here is nothing regarding build quality its a top notch car

only thing missing is absence of airbags and vvt which hardly makes a difference

Honda Atlas and Toyota Indus bhi Pakistani hain
aur Vitz jaisi cars bhi Pakistani Dealers hi import karwa rahay hain

just dont blindly waste money on locally made cars just coz of calling ourselves Pakistani

coz the Assemblers most noticeably PakSuzuki has been ripping of our awam for almost a decade now

saying tht i still say Swift is an excellent hatch back coz its a Suzuki not a
typical PakSuzuki (H)

Here is the list of things missing out in Paksuzuki version of swift:- (which might be incomplete)
1. VVT -(M13AVVT version gives slightly better mileage and performance)
2. Airbags
3. Pretensioner seat belts
4. Rear wiper & washer
5. Cabin light in trunk
6. Under passenger seat tray
7. Temperature and Mileage gadget
8. Headlight leveling
9. Steering audio controls (optional in swifts abroad as well)
10. Suzuki's ESP Electronic Stability Program (optional in swifts abroad as well)
11. Engine bay cover/shield (under engine area)
