Swift or Vitz - which is a better option

^^ yeah but considering what they offer in their other cars. Swift is still a decent package. I agree that swift is a pretty good car but Pak suzuki launched this car here very late as the all new swift is already in production and sales will start later this year. It would have been really great if Paksuzuki offered the newer model this year instead of the outgoing generation. It would generate good sales for them and improve their image in the market.

If only we had a more competitive local auto manufacturing industry. We would be getting much better deals for lesser prices.

how many km's do you get on a liter of petrol in real world city driving?

the sales staff at the showroom told me it's almost 15kms per liter with AC.
something I found hard to believe.

yes it gives 13km in city and 16 km on highway

I think no car can top your vitz as you own one so it is useless to argue with you.
Below are some points to be made:
1. Vitz power can't be compared with swift(1.0 VS 1.3)
2.If you talk about 1.3L then its price is atleast 1.2 million Rs.
3.Swift has 2 years warranty, vitz has none.
4.Average of swift is 12-13 in city and 16-18 on highway(almost same).
5. Build quality of swift is also good.
6.LCD is an add on and doesn't come with all cars.
7.back view cam doesn't come as standard again an add on.
8.Colour option is also in swift.For vitz you will have to search the market and rate varies according to colour.

Now things not available in imported vitz:
1.No alloy rims.
2.Poor quality tyres(Bridgestone with swift).Add the cost of tyres+ alloys.
3.Underpowered.
4.Clearance issue(with 4 passengers it will hit the speedbreakers, u will have to raise it).
5.Easy spare availability for swift.
6.Poor quality music players installed by importers.
7.You can't know about the quality of vehicle, vehicles being imported here are usually of 3-3.5 grade and the dealer will tell you 4.5.
8. Odometer is tempered and rolled back(almost every car).

almost 90% vitz comes with yokohama, good year n dunlop..
my vitz carry 6 passengers daily n it never hit the speedbreakers .. how can u say dat it hits the speedbreaker with 4 passengers?

vitz is the only jdm car whose parts availability is not an issue..

build quality of vitz is way ahead then swift.......

who said dat poor quality music players r installed in jdm.. go n check by urself.. yeh chawal sirf suzuki walay he maar sakte hain jo 4k se ziada ka mp3 player nahi detay aur meri vitz k sath genuine 12k ka lcd player aya hai.. wid gr8 quality sound speakers.........

Very much depends on the speedbrakers also.. warna agar peechay 3 bethay hoon to Liana to lag jati hai.. Idhar Multan ma kuch speed brakers hain ke agar aap akelay bhi bethay ho to gari lag jati hai neechay se.. Same goes for civic.. This is my personal experience..

we have kept the civic in our village home and wahan to har jaga chahay speedbraker na bhi ho, neechay lagti hai.. Neighbours ke paar Xli hai, wo nahi lagti..

Not an issue.
Whenever complaining about low ground clearance remember the fact that low ground clearance = better roadgrip.
My Khyber also hits on big speedbreakers with just 3 persons.
Try crossing these speedbumps diagonally.

vitz got more featurs lyk push button strt kit,t.v navigation,antilock braking,

on da other hand swift got more engine effinency then vitz .... plus beter fuel consumption..., the choice does matter  !!!!!

high ground clearence matters alot in pakistan and its a plus point of swift over vitz.Not all people drive cars on defence roads like u people.even low ground clearence have better grip but these are not for racing and we want cars for pakistan not uk for racing.

im a vitz owner
still miss comfort of my 98 vti
but its a full package and a complete family car so thats what matters
any body ready to put another 1 lac and doesnt want auto which will b requiring +2 lac may b can opt for swift

Now this is just the kind of a thread i call Sh*t.Every1 here is going for vitz and not supporting our local industry and then are expectin them too add features bhai com'on this just what has left us behind all the other country's people defend the country in every factor but we pakistani's have beautiful media with beautiful people who are afraid to say they are from pak!come on guys! support the local industry!i have kept both japenese liana and local and what i say is the quality the are offering is very good after seeing the tax goverment has put!now its all up to u!
