Swift or Vitz - which is a better option

vitz is underpowered this thing uk website has mentioned and 3 cylinder engine struggles on the highways for speeds and swift will beat die hard to vitz

wht a useless comment .........n swift is only selling gud in india n vitz is selling very gud all over in the world.........new is new ....hahaha then y people prefer vitz more than swift swift ko aye howay pakistan mein almost 9 10 months ho gaye hai aur roads pay nazar hee nahi ati aur corolla ko jab 10 months hoi the tu corolla har jaga nazar ati the .....so sad apki suzuki pichay reh gaye hai!

bhai sirf engine hee sab kuch nahi hota these cars are family car not racing cars! thts y people buy vitz because its have many thing which swift dont have bro face the reality dont support paki industry .......its crap n vitz is jdm which is much better than our pdm !

stop beating the jdm dhool.... I have a scratchless premio and have kept/used all toyotas/hondas among others... Recently bought a swift and trust me it is really really good in drive and quality.. I didnt buy a vitz because I think DRIVE and FEATURES of swift are much better. This also includes all the reasons mentioned on the 16 pages of this thread.

@gungunail passo has better and powerfull drive than vitz bcoz its 4speed AT like altis,4cylinder engine and it has light body compared to vitzi

Even Vitz 2005-2006 models are much better then 2010 Swift. Mainly due to safety features, advanced technology, realibility of Toyota, easy available spareparts, durability of body sheet and engine and above all advanced basic features, like auto transmission, rear wiper etc make vitz on a winning stand.

If Swift cutt down its price to 900K, then one might go for new car, otherwise spending PKR 1.1 million on swift is not a wise move.

my first car was an alto, it was 0 meter car and with in 6 months its battery expired, rear door and window jammed, a/c failed and by the time i got rid of it u can imagine what condition it was in

my second car was a japanes liana 1.6 lit, i got rid of it with in 24 days, for obvious reasons,

2 years ago when i was abt to purchase a car, i went thru the same situation, i.e. to buy a vitz 2002 or a cultus 2006. at that time i listened to others and bought a cultus as they said it has good resale value, it has better part availability etc etc, the problems i faced were

1. practically useless a/c in lahore weather
2. uncomfortable seating
3. dashboard was bizarre
4. steering control was like sad
5. all the basic features of comfort were missing
6. useless head lamps
7. went to karachi by road once, and i was dead

this time when i had to chose between vitz 2006 and swift 2010

i think i made the right choice to never buy a suzuki ever again

its not seelling bcoz its a new car like vitz when it came in 2004 no body was even agreed to buy it in 4lakhs my one uncle sold vitz 02 excellent condition for 3.7 lakhs at that time.
Passo is new and for the time after 2-3 years it will be selling good as vitz.
