Hey Pakwheelers! I wanted to ask That in suzuki swift DX and DLX versions, There is a immobilizer so is there any need of security Alarm system? Remember I dont need a keyless entry. I just want a good security

i also have a DLX but never thought about security as the aftermarket ones are only for show....the immobilizer is reliable enough...

security Alarm system is not required ........... bcz car won't start with any other key due to immobilizer

DX has immobilizer, you can see immobi sticker on driver side window glass (sticker having image of car with a "taala" on it)

its v much secure, with immobilizer car wont start by any other key as mentioned above, but I read somewhere on PW that immobilizer can also be breached, but dont know that Pak car lifters have this tech or not...
you can use steering lock rod (like that of crook lock) as an additional security..

Both DX and DLX have immobilizer
and it is a very effective security system.. i have a DX..
I have steel mate security system.. For keyless entry and extra toon toooon if someone touches the car

Comeon dude. you cannot deactivate an immobilizer.

add steelmate if you want alarming sounds on hitting & opening door without remote control..

I have steel mate, And Immobilizer does NOT get de activated..
