Switching from liqui moly 20-50 to 10-40

Can I switch from liqui moly 20w-50 to 10w-40. My bike is on 8000km I have done long trip till khunjerab
Is there good reason or any harm if I switch to 10w-40 ?

Suzuki Manual recomend 10-40 for new bikes 8000KM are very low milage you must go for LM 10-40 grade instead of 20-50 your ride will perform more batter after this Insha Allah

Before introduction of Suzuki Genuine Oil which it buys from Total and is of 10 W 40 grade, Suzuki GS manual recommended 20 W 50. Not sure why they changed it to 10 W 40.

Why do you need to switch back to 10 W 40? If you have been driving it using 20 W 50 the engine must have adapted to it. I my self use LM 20 W 50. We live in a warmer climate where summers are longer and winter are not as severe. 20 W 50 helps dampen engine sound as well. I suggest do not UNNECESSARILY disturb your engine. Just enjoy your ride.
