Switching from ZIC HIFLO 20-50 to ADDINOL 20-50?

I have been using ZIC HIFLO 20-50 for quite some time for my swift/khyber, however this time when i went to buy Zic oil the shopkeeper suggested to buy ADDINOL 20-50. It's made in Germany.

I usually change my ZIC at 4000 km interval, the shopkeeper said that addinol lasts upto 6000 kms.

lately since last 2 oil changes i found zic not upto mark.My daily driving is about 100 kms /day on CNG.

I want to ask if this oil is good for my car? If anybody has used ADDINOL oil plz share ur experience.

reply asap as my car has almost completed 4000 kms.

My sincere advice to u is that don't change oil if u do not have any oil related problem. Even if u change, go for some known and easily available brand!!

No doubt, German tech is very good, like Liqui Moli. and their Quality Control is excellent.

You may try it and otherwise you can go for ENOC, Petromin etc. if you want to use the same grade 20w-50. though many people here don't recommend this grade.

10W-40 is good to use in Khyber. I suggest try Castrol Magnatec, ENOC.

@tahirahmed: I've been observing that since last 2 oil changes that performance has decreased. so lets c if this oil can restore the performance.

secondly conculsion of zic oil as a possible culprit for the decreased performance was only made after i had done all necessary checks eg: tuning, carb service, oil & air filter change & plugs replacement to bosch ones.

PS: by performance i mean it had sluggish response at 1st and esp 2nd gear
