Hi, I have vitz 2014 model which is driven around 76k. Bought it while it was driven around 36k, and since then have been using Toyota Petron Plus 10w-30, do you guys suggest switching to another oil company. Which grade and company do you suggest. Have been looking in forums and mostly have recommended Liqui moly or Total Quartz.

Oo really
0w16 is recommended for non hybrids like Swift 1.2 litre with K12M and K12C engines
And 0w20 is recommended by manfacturers for hundreds of non hybrids till now
Like 1kr fe in vitz passo, 0w20
And suzuki k10b, even maruti suzuki recommends 0w16 for that, also 0w20,
Cultus/ celerio k10b, same 0w20
Suzuki ciaz, ertiga, same 0w20
Corolla 1.8 grande, Civic 1.5 turbo, same
Many others too
Edit: even for suzuki M13A like old engine, 0w20 is recommended by suzuki

Would it be a good choice to move less viscosity oil now that it has been I have been using 10w-30 for the last 40k. At the time I bought the car the odo showed around 36k.

There's always no issue in switching to correct viscosity, it's never to too late
Switch to 0w20, observe engine oil consumption every 1k kms in 1st change for peace of mind
