Actually Voyager the area you are in Afghanistan and the area I am in Iran and the area we both come from Pakistan have a ot of common history and culture and similarities. Its only in the recent times that we are influenced more by India than these regions.

Our language has so many words of Farsi and all our great thinkers took a lot of inspiration from Farsi. Allama Iqbal's poetry is comprised of a great percentage of Farsi. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jailani or Ghaus-e-Azam was born in Khurasan and he lived for many yrs in Multan.

We need to get a hang of these similarities with this region. The region of Aryan race!

The place where I am standing is the border of Iran and Azerbaijan. The river is inside Iran and the other bank of the river you can see a fence which is Azerbaijan. This river Aras flows east and it also touches the border of Armenia which is not very far away from this place.
