I just loved this road. Along the river on the border going up into the mountains. And the condition of this remote road in Iran was also excellent.

I like the Bazar pictures most,what the pleasure it must be to such a historic place...Great going sir.


 Iran seems to enjoy v good relations with hos neighbour,as apparent by NO prohibitio to Photography,no Army control around the Border...and above all your trip shows that there must be some telecommunication work aslos going nearby...That all is very nice.

     i wish we could have same relation with Indians,and in Kargil pictures(posted by another gentleman....we could see families around and beauiful rounds...alas,its Guns,and Ammo out there....


    Just a funny thing.......What if the river in between Iran and Azerbaijan changes its direction?....

One of the stops on the trip was a Church in the Mountains reportedly built by Armenians in the 11th Century. Nearing the Church!

The walls have writings in Armenian on them!
