Tachometer on JDM Lancer?

I believe most of us JDM Lancer owners are missing one thing on our car which is the Tachometer. Is there someone who has successfully been able to solve that by installing a speedometer cluster from cs1a or cs3a or any other? I know some of us may not have been successful with the optitron meter conversion that was originally in cs5w.

why mess with the originality of the car

Buddy it's not like I am going install a meter from some corolla...bolt to bolt 100% fitment is guaranteed with the cs5a/w, cs1a, cs3a meter hell even the ralliart or sport lancer(uk) meter can be fitted bolt to bolt...it's as original as they come. Some JDM lancers even have them so I don't really feel I am killing any originality of the car, because even when I sell it it will be a plus not a minus, for me in day to day driving i'd love to see what's going on thus thinking about it.

still not the equipment that came with the car.. and if you are looking for such instrument clusters they are available at magazzine line.. just saw them a couple of days ago.
