chennai a capital city of tamil nadu in south of india, old name "Madrass"
city consider to be a city of education, many universities, collages, schools over there, people are simple and very nice, tamil nadu considerd to be india's biggest film making city , yes its true, every year here # of films making here are more than bolywood 
famous film actor Rajni kaant also belongs to this area.
tamil nadu also becoming famous for auto industry, hyndai having its plant over here, i heard some other brands from auto also coming in this area but not sure names. this area also consider best leather house, many leather tanneries and shoe makers here due to this reason every year in early feb there is one internaltional leather exhibition where not only from india but also from other countries exhibitors come and display their leather products
