Taubat to Minimerg Info Required

Hi,

I live in UAE and I am planning a trip to neelum valley this july after ramadan. We want to do taubat-Minimerg Trek.
Our other plans were to cross shounter pass or Chich Pass. But I think in Mid July we should not do any of them.
Also I think minimerg trek from Taubat will be much more greener and untouched.
I know we need a special permission from army to visit those areas which I will take care of.
But I need your help and guidelines about:
1- nature of the trek
2- expected time of trek
3- recommendations
And above all I need a contact number of some one who has actually done that trek.

It will be great help if any one of you can contribute, as I was not able to gather any information from internet.

If I am able to do this I will surely post a thread about the trek on Pakwheels

Summary :

1- You need to get army permission to visit minimerg and cross kamri pass
2- LOC situation will decide whether you can go to taubat from that trek or not even after having permission
3- Poters and Guides will be available from Minimerg

Dear friend, i think ur track little bit easy from Astor Side, u can touch Deaosai also from that side and total jeep track, u find ur permit from Chilm Chowki.

Yes there are lot of options but I want the info specific to trek itself. I never saw any post by anyone doing that trek from either side So I am wondering has any one done that trek?.

i have done chich pass trek bro........ its a good trek but its hard to find any guide for this trip....... shounter pas is easy......... better option.. Kamri pass is best but issue is not army permission but also the condition at LOC....

i dont recomend chich pass in monsoon rains........

yara kamri pass ke bht sad story ha.... actually wahan may 2 times gia hun with permision but LOC may firing chal rai hoti thee aur dudgai village janay nai detay phir fauji civilians ko....

baki koi itna masla nai hai if u reach dudgai then ull get guide and porter easily from there.... no contacts needed... as per my info............

aaaaahhh yes umair hassan is a legendary trekker and a "madman" lolz dont tell him i said that..... he is truly an inspiration for me and many others.......

yara u just have to plan the permission and pray kay halat achay rahay baki kamro pass itan mushkil nai hai aur senic wise bht rewarding ha

Asif bhai same thing from taobut side no contacts needed if u have permission get the porter and guide from tao but village if u have permission and right time is september

5-6 hrs.. its not that tuf but location is hostile....
