Brothers i have recently bought honda civic 2007 model.
The car has been transferred on my name
And i want to get the refund of tax but unfortunately i dont have the transfer form or anything.
How can i get the tax certificate for the transfer pf ownerhip of vehicle
The car is islamabad registered

upon transfer the taxation challan & the receipt mention the with holding taxes in a column U/S 231B.
that is enough to claim the tax adjustment. when you enter the data in annual tax return FBR will automatically adjust the amount.

The problem is ,i get the salary after the deduction of tax.
Now i have to claim it and i have lost the receipt

ask your employer to provide you copy of salary slip, what is the issue. we all get salary slips and bank transfer alerts.

remember there is no refund but only tax adjustment in annual tax return.

I don't think it will be a big tax amount on a 2007 transfer? Maybe i am wrong.

I have a claim of rs28000 pending since 2011 and never got return. Its not something easy to get back when amounts are small ( bigger amounts mean u can easily bribe from that amount and people do get claims in that case ). The only way is that you ask your company to adjust it in your salary. Once the money is gone to government means its gone
