Dudipat trip is called off due to lass min a.. from few group members :(, feeling sad about it!

Anyways, the budget for that trip has now been dedicated to Mog :).

Task 1:- Brakes (what do U say about Hino's pressure breaking system - kidding)

Task 2:- Some Electric wiring work, indicator lights are no more there, broken during last year's Hunting. Here, if I did’nt get Mog's then Hino is not a bad option, do notice few trucks around

Task 3:- Shocks servicing/replacement – Going for DeeDee’s recommended!

Task 4:- Batteries compartment upper frame to hold them tight & Jerry can holder (made of angle iron) to be installed right next batteries to carry at least 32LTR of extra fuel

Machine is Ready for another 6 Months Off-Road

Incase of any Bonus, power steering, roller cage & rear comfortable seats for the team & a winch!

Task 1: (Hino pressure sounds like phussss everytime you press the padle ) I have done some working on brakes and will only tell you on accomplishment. brakes Insha Allah going to be upgraded during Ramadan. so wait for the outcome.

Task 2: Hino indicators ...not a bad idea.... throughly check the electric wiring and if required change it to make it trouble free. Also i will suggest you to mount IPF supper rally on bumper for night vission :).

Task 3: dont service the shocks....replace them and you are welcome and i am only a call away.

Task 4: i am also working on the jerry can holder. i got one original holder mounted under the radio cab of my mog that i can use under the dala. angle iron is a good idea.

Task 5: also working on power steering and i think will have no problem in mounting power steering box, same guy who will do the brakes servo, he will also do the power steering and during Ramadan InsahaAllah.

important is tow cable (heavy duty), tool kit, minimum spares required for offroading.

Rollcage is phase 2 and hopefully before we travell to wild.

I am calling it a day for the old mechanic, unfortunately he is a Bedford expert & invited me to park the truck at his workshop in pirwidhai Truck workshops and he will do some alterations as done on Mazda

I have prepared the toolkit with all necessary spares, Heavy Duty tow cable is a must, for us the one pulled out from old army winchs would be ideal, I have heard bilal gunj is the place to find this!

Roll cage is a must, I have tested it to the limit on side inclines, although on crawlers roll over is very smooth

Task 1: heard that prado servo is the anwser...got to check....go for the truck mechanic i think right choice and do keep me posted with the upgradation process....

Task 2: for shikar you need spot and can mount Golight on snorkle as i got golight model 2049 in 24v.

Task 5: you check out possiblilities at your end and also check if Doc Khatak has converted to power steering and which one?

Task 6: winch hmmm. i got PTO installed on my gear box so i need machenical...will you look for PTO drive for mechanical winch or electric/hydrolic. can help you to check the possibilities here.

Task 7: rollcage is must and will do that in phase 2.

Yes Adeel bhai - a 1942 beetle model named "Kommandowagon" - Im trying to find some links and literature on it - lets see what happens - this would be the "one and only" of its kind in Pak

amazing bugzy....loved the idea...so somethings cooking?....front or rear engine?

tires are mud eater and the front rooler is a great idea to mount on jeep.

btw my ride is in workshop for upgradation as discussed and the muddy track is rite in front of worshop so no problem

yes rear - engine

as i have studied more on it - there are only 2 cars left. one in VW Museum and one is with some french chap....

my objective is to some how get the design of suspension - buy a khokha and make our own - something along those lines - janj has told me a few times that my beetle can be converted to 4x4 -- with some cutting - aaarrrggghhhh
the suspension can be lifted even of my beetle by 4 to 5 inches - it has the feature in it
