DeeDee, Left Rear wheel is scary without weight ... What suspension upgrade is done by amercians? I have seen articulaton of more than 2 feets & its looks ultimate.

Basharat that is always scary while sitting high above and your head is almost 7-8feet above the ground :). the mogster usually not alter the articulation because of the irregular COG of mog but i have seen rear softer coils with alter in torsion bar and upgraded shocks.

Check Jobremski mog 404 and i always enjoyed watching him crawling with 100% stock unimog

WoW - Amazing things this machine can do! I noticed power steering & excellent brakes , He is driving 6 Cylinder Patrol version, probably 404 of mid 70s.

you are welcome bro....once you become a mogster, enjoyment is in the package full time :)....

if you could give the project due time and attention (attention means only you lead the project dont depend on mechanics) than you should go for restoration otherwise if you could get your hands on some good restored mog its fine.

Hmm, Intresting. No match for the Mog crawlers. Mr. bremski has fitted bucket seats for the passengers thats very kind of him for his team!

Fishak, I also had a plan to install proper seats in dala of my troops career, Peshawar is the place to find them - I need your input on the market situation there.

I have 50/50 plan to leave for dudipatsar track tommorow (2x2), if this doesnt happen I will probably be visiting peshawar to search some hunting equipment.

Anyways, the budget for that trip has now been dedicated to Mog :).

Task 2:- Some Electric wiring work, indicator lights are no more there, broken during last year's Hunting. Here, if I did’nt get Mog's then Hino is not a bad option, do notice few trucks around

Task 3:- Shocks servicing/replacement – Going for DeeDee’s recommended!

Task 4:- Batteries compartment upper frame to hold them tight & Jerry can holder (made of angle iron) to be installed right next batteries to carry at least 38-40 LTR of extra fuel

Incase of any Bonus, power steering, roller cage & rear comfortable seats for the team & few lights!

Task 1: (Hino pressure sounds like phussss everytime you press the padle ) I have done some working on brakes and will only tell you on accomplishment. brakes Insha Allah going to be upgraded during Ramadan. so wait for the outcome.

Task 2: Hino indicators ...not a bad idea.... throughly check the electric wiring and if required change it to make it trouble free. Also i will suggest you to mount IPF supper rally on bumper for night vission :).

Task 3: dont service the shocks....replace them and you are welcome and i am only a call away.

Task 4: i am also working on the jerry can holder. i got one original holder mounted under the radio cab of my mog that i can use under the dala. angle iron is a good idea.

Task 5: also working on power steering and i think will have no problem in mounting power steering box, same guy who will do the brakes servo, he will also do the power steering and during Ramadan InsahaAllah.

important is tow cable (heavy duty), tool kit, minimum spares required for offroading.

Rollcage is phase 2 and hopefully before we travell to wild.

NOW THE MONEY WILL BE SPENT ON GREAT CAUSE
