boy now we need 4 to 5 tool kits (2 DeeDee, 1 Syncview, 1 SalmanZ and 1 cyrius i guess).... we would appreciate if you could help us in arranging these kits. this will be a great favor from you to a 4x4 enthusiast.... i hope the offer still stands and we can even pay 10 to 20% above the cost you mentioned.... and believe us we really dont know where to get them....

why not make a toolkit yourself - there are some very good toolshops in Karachi, They have literally any hand tool I wanted. Ive even bought S shaped spanners from them, XZN socket, E sockets, male torx sockets, regular metric sockets etc.

Ive seen this toolkit once for sale in Karachi, it was not all legit - as it contained a stamped code on every piece - and it was not all brand new, the guy was asking 20K for it. I beleive this kit is shipped with the multipurpose attack vehicle that they drop onto warzones

i've been to the supposedly best shops in Lahore, either they are toooooooooo expensive or if not then they are crap.

This was in Military Service, extremely clean. I saw another 2.5 tonner, it was troops carrier with in similar paintjob going towards PAF colony.

This one was at Citi Sadar Road and some uncle had just bought it apparently. They managed to get it started! Winch looks BADA**! Tires are big 12.5R20s!

Thanks SK for sharing pictures of 2.5 toner... this one is 416 or 406 (no major difference between both models, for surety we have to check the numbers on chasis plate under the bonnet on navigator side).... winch is PTO driven and the lever has 3 point to engage winch, front shaft, rear shaft and both shaft drive at the same time (you can hang mog by this winch... its a big dady winch).... i had its PTO drive in my 421 attached to gear box being hunted and fitted by myself.... this one seems short wheelbase mainly used as towing of really BIG things.... always came with 12.5 R20. with power steering and brakes..... simply extreme machine and out of all unimog models till 1988, this one has the maximum articulation but only issue is costly parts as compared to 421 and avaibilty is also an issue.... someday i will have her in my collection InshaAllah...

we are lucky that we have so many unimogs but unfortunately 99% are dying....

yes boy we can make a tool kit and most us already did but why not buy something where tools are properly managed and accounted for and we always enjoy the DIYs that we are into

Guys, since I elaborated on the kit, I also spoke to the guy who bought it in Pindi, he said at the time of buying the guy had 2 kits & was in a hurry to sell the item. (such items if seen in the market leads to problems for the shop keepers.)

I have told the same guy that we need atleast 10 kits, to which he says that he'll keep an eye on them, but availability in bulk is next to impossible. So it'll be on a 1st come 1st basis, as soon as I hear word from the seller.

Sarmad, meray dost, meray aziz, this was a good one I happen to have seen the craftsmanship in real life on one of these babies, and I must say, no matter what you are prepared for, nothing prepares you to see the quality behind this kit. I think even one tray would cost more than 8k - 10k, used, smuggled, stolen, no matter how it is possessed. Forget about brand new.

My offer, 25k, forget the guys who want to get it for the price of a really good hammer

i think he knows the actual price
