A few days ago, some metal attachment connecting the hose pipe to the engine was found to be leaking and my engine (civic 1.8) was overheating. The parts (the metal attachment and hose pipe) were then changed the next day and the car is not overheating anymore. AC and heater working perfectly. But the temperature is a notch below the middle point and not getting to the middle even after an hour of driving. Should I be concerned?Point to be noted: the thermostat wasn’t changed as per the mechanic the thermostat wasn’t damaged and is working. @Xulfiqar l
What kind of coolant is being used?
temp gauge looks alright tbh
Are you using tap water in radiator?
Temp gauge looks fine
Temp gauge is normal, but your cooling system is in really really bad shape, did your mechanic tell you that “koolent thanda ilaqa ka hai”?
