Today I had a blast driving a lightly modified 3.0L NSX in the snow. The car had the NSX Type-R gear ratios, Comptech Intake, 10K HID's, Tein coilovers, Comptech clutch, and a few other mods. I really didn't like the Wings West body kit that was on the car, imo it ruined the looks of the car. The wheels weren't the best either, I would at least put some some nice Volks on. The interior was kinda gaudy with the aftermarket red leather seats, Momo steering wheels and the veilside shift knob. Regardless of the tasteless interior and exterior mods the car was a lot of fun to drive. The flywheel is extremely light so the car needed a few revs to get going. The comptech clutch was somewhat stiff but it wasn't bad in stop and go traffic. The best thing about the car was the handling and the sound of the intake when the VTEC comes on. The car had 136K miles but still felt pretty strong. Only Honda can make an amazing sports car that would last this long without major work. I really like the overall feel of the NSX, it makes most 911's feel less involving. I've driven a 2002 NSX with the 3.2L motor and it felt much quicker than this 3.0L model. Whichever way you look at it the NSX is one amazing car.
