I do indeed doubt a lot of things my friend. One has to be critical and sceptical to see things for what they are
If you'd found my argument plausible, you were more than welcome to counter-argue. There was no need for a personal attack.
Like I've said before, if u own a Swift and get that mileage, I'd more than happy to help u address the factors causing it.
If u dont, and are just believing what others told and then arguing with an actual owner, then my friend your argument stands nullified right there.
For if u can quote a few Pakistani owners as having low fuel economy, I can quite many other Pakistanis having good economy, like Sdogar, as well as international surveys etc with much more credibility and people from all over the world, as well as the numerous awards one by the very same car with the very same engine.
Also, u question the style of driving. I will attach a few pics shortly, if u do not want to take my word for my aggressive style of driving, to attest to my claims.
Regarding a minor point about goodies in the car and selling, goodies are NEVER supposed to get u extra money for your car. Its like people demanding 1 lakh more because their cars have extended cheap bumpers or weird spoilers and exhausts, or a sound system.
Coming to your main argument, I quite agree with you regarding prices. I have since long found prices of Pakistani cars outrageous to say the least, and the Swift i drive was bought for 10lakhs exact. 13 is too much, but so are the prices of every other car. Corollas for 20+ lakhs is ok?
I disagree with the whole market here. There is not ONE manufacturer in Pakistan that has a REASONABLY priced car.
Hence, my suggestion as well for used cars and good, clean Japs.
Not a fan of the auto swift myself, owing to my distaste for auto transmissions and poor fuel economy, so I agree with u there, without doubt.
