Overall diameter is almost same -.4% difference , just look at the meat on 17% (T-Bone steak) , the ride is so comfortable & less noisy that now when I will put the stock tire & rims may be I will fell bit noisy & stiff

I have 225/40/18 with Dunlop Sp Sport all season tires stock from VW.. and its normal for these to be little noisy.
I hit a pot hole once and replaced one costed me $425 for rim and 225 for tire..

Sun was out with +2 degree but with wind chill it was -4 anyway out come was not so bad

we both have shadow blue mattalic. Love this color.the color gives different shades in different lights.
The only thing I have noticed it that very slight swirl marks gets visible on an angle. I never get my car washed in automatic car washes. Do it myself or at touchless car washes. I have rechargable yard blower. I use it to blow away the dust and any dust from engine bay or interior. never use even those static dusters.

Thanks for the visit , yes you are rite in fact all the dark colours , tabahi when taken care properly & looked Bad if wont , she never went to automatic wash but on the other side deposit of salt is not good to rub with micro fibre so the step I took :

Double bucket wash

afetr every snow storm. my coworkers used to laugh at me :D. double digit below zero but I used to park my car on high ground and wash my car with hot water specially underbody. to clear the deicing salts...
