All these batteries are lead acid mostly.
Little difference in manufacturing style and working mechanism.

Gel are most efficient and AGM.
Other depends on its functions.

Gel n AGM are normally deep cycle.
In other types like flooded, vrla has both car battery and deep cycle too.

So for solar and ups always buy deep cycle.
If you have money go for GEL but also you need battery chargers which should work on GEL type.

DoD = depth of discharge.
Manufacturer recommend 80% DOD but it is costly so 50% DOD is optimal.
This means do not use battery for more than 50% of its capacity.

If you have 100Ah battery than use 75Ah (50%) than again full charge. If you cross this limit than battery starts die fast.

150 watts in 220volt system is 0.68amp

150 watts in 12volt system is 12.5amps plus whatever amperage inverter will consume...

Thing is i have 900watt panels, 550amp batteries 12 volt system and i invested around 40k on 12v fans... But in these hot days those 12v fans are good for nothing..... My house is around 40 years old and it was made without any proper planning..... I need these 220v fans to run to keep using our solar system.....

So please suggest a cheap reasonably priced pure sign wave inverter which can run these 3 fans...

Can these fans be run by a UPS? I have 24volt apc 1.5kva ups...? I will charge the batteries by solar panels and somehow can i disable the charger of UPS? Can ups be only used as an inverter???

Yes UPS can be used as inverter. Bcz UPS is inverter with charger.

Just connect ups with battery and fans with ups outup and good to go.

Do not use ups input supply from wapda. It will start charging batteries which you not need.

Guys i have a APC 1500VA & a pair of Narada Acme G 100ah Gel Batteries. I'm Using them for over a year & they absolutely work fine with a load of around 600watts, and the minium backup was 5 hours plus! A week ago, when electricity was off, the UPS showed complete 5 bars of battery which means the batteries were fully charged but after 50 minutes of backup, UPS showed there is only 1 bar left for battery! I discussed the matter with my UPS dealer, who is a kind fellow and always gave an honest advice to check the batteries! I got them Checked, and the technician told me that there is a weak cell in one of the batteries. That's y, the backup time has been reduced to an hour or maximum 2 hours!

My Question is What should i do now? Can a dry battery cell can be repaired!

Problem is in Ups. 200 ah of both batteries combined should give u more than 5 hours.

Even my liquid battery AGS 175 amperes gives 5+ hours on 400-500 watts load. Its the ups that kills the batteries.

Call this guy now and ask him how much should you get from these batteries and for how many hours and how many years. Tell him about the UPS especially.

Just give him a call.

Cell has been damaged. If yes. Ask him whether its fixable or not. Dont need to buy new ups. Good luck

do u have voltmeter?

check voltage of both batteries one by one after disconnecting from ups and tell me
