Both have their own pros and cons. Though I would prefer Monocrystalline.

I just checked the user manual of this inverter and there is Solar First mode. Can you tell me which solar panels you are using and how much they cost?

I was saying about panels after reading the manual. It says max pv should not increase above 260W if he has the third inverter.

Now a days the price and performance gap between mono and poly is very narrow but typically poly is said to well perform in hot climate but i have seen projects in Saudi using both..mono and poly without issues...

I recently bought this 1kva CyberPower Solar Hybrid Inverter. For now i'm running it on wapda but planning to add couple of solar panels in coming months. I need recommendation for solar panels, for start i want to install max 300watts panels. Anyone else here running similar solar hybrid system? Any recommendations/help will be appreciated.

Now ingot casting technologies means they can create a poly cell which performs very much like mono..while retaining cost benefits of poly..all major manufacturers of solar cells now offer this technology rather than straight out poly

Model number is CPS1200EOH12SC and bought it for 13.5k with 2 years warranty.

I got same inverter in 24v with two batteries (CPS2200) and tried to connect two 260W panels in parallel but when I switch to Solar 1st mode in daytime and applied a load of 3 ceiling fans its drain battery while panels are producing ~12-13amps not sure why.

Reading manual its mentioned that these inverters charges batteries at 20amps which they call "Ultrafast Charging" but in order to use free electricity from panels using this inverter you need to have at least 5 x 150W panels connected in parallel to generate ~20amps current. Charge controller in this model isn't intelligent enough.

Experts here can guide us.

Boht zabrdast bro as I readout your posted manual pages I came to know that your inverter support max 40Voc and which ever panels you bought consider that those panels Vmp is between 15-18Vmp max as this is the ideal voltage range for charge controller to work at its best I think 150watt panels have this range of Vmp if you want more details please contact me via mobile number I pm you my number

In my experience it doesn't utilize solar efficiently. i mean handling load and charging battery with leftover current from load at same time.

The modes suggest that if the load is less then solar generation then it will use solar else it will drain batteries. It can not mix both of them like hybrid inverters. Its an expensive technology. BtW max changing current should not increase from 10% of battery capacity i.e 10Amp for 100Amp battery. Make sure it doesn't get your battery because these chinese ups are very good at it

Bro these generated amps are DC which is producing 13Ax24V=312watt multiply it with 0.8 power factor you got most means 250w round about max at peak so your 3 fans consumes more than 250 watts that's why your inverter not taking current from panels rather taking from your batteries which have higher amps than your panles .

That is what i had in my mind. I need to install 4 more similar panels to get benefit from this setup in terms of free electricity but panels are expensive and 60k isn't small amount for me.

You're right as I think your panels are also not producing what these should be as they should produce 15A max at peak your voltage is within range but may be your inverter ain't capable of doing work efficiently as a MPPT controller inverter can do.
Because this have PWM charge controller and whatever panel producing voltage it becomes to 24v at max and further voltage are wasting.

Apart from this inefficient handling of solar power.

I can say Cyberpower UPS is well built. I purchased two and in recent thunderstorms both of them washed out (ghusul) in heavy rain while in operation but both are still working fine after placing them in sun to dry for a day
