Yes these are thin film.
Got them at a discounted price due to connections.
1 panel costed around 4k.

A BIG NO !!!!!!! ... u cannot charge batteries with two chargers ........ i also did the same stupidity once and ended up frying one of my ups ... i am dealin in apc for so long so thats why i ll ask u not to do the same orelse u have to kiss one of ur ups bye boy ...

I did it for a long time nothing happened and nothing should happen.. Why would it fry ups?

We have two inverters running, the one In my portion has 18 panels
2970 W - Maximum which i get is 2.4Kw. Mostly because they derate as temp in Islamabad is high.

I think you have already mentioned this somewhere but I couldn't find it in past posts, are these polycrystalline panels which by the looks they look like they are, how much did each cost and what brand it is. Thanks

Those panels cost 20-30k depending if they are mono or poly. Thin film are cheap, have half the life compared to poly and mono, but they are good for hot weather and cloudy conditions, but they also require 3 times the space compared to crystalline based panels.

Two brands, 18 panels are polycrystalline and 20 are mono, The poly one are i guess SunTech and Mono one are Yingli. Both have same specifications.

Sharing my system after almost an year! :S
Any ways, originally we had installed 40 121W Sharp panels and 24*2V dry cells and an Inverex 5KVA inverter.
Now we've installed 4 more AGS 200A Acid batteries for better backup.
Plus 20 more panels are being installed of which up till only 10 panels have been installed in 2 months! :X

You are not getting full benefit for your setup until you replace your inverter with Hybrid. The Inverex 5KVA inverter is not Hybrid.
Why you installed 40 Panels of 121 Watts?? If its MKS series then Its maximum support 4000 Watts panels.

Incompetence, unprofessionalism exists in all fields in Pakistan. Maybe one out of 100 knows about his job. He is also facing another issue which resolves on its own after 5pm and early morning. The issue is due to adding more then supported input voltage of charge controller but i don't know when is the installer going to understand that.

I am trying to figure out which panels give best actual output. According to your figures you only get a maximum of 80% of what you installed.

Poly is best and cheap in our country weather conditions and you cannot get more than 70-75% in such hot weather in Pakistan

Thin film does well in hot weather and the price mentioned by kick_in at Rs. 4000 per panel looks very attractive. Do you know what could be the price for this panel in Lahore.
