I agree with you that battery is needed for hybrid. But some pseudo solar experts argue otherwise.

Most new hybrid inverters made in pakistan will advertise that you can run without battery with pv generation but when time comes and you've installed it, you'll be crying due to cloudy weather, low solar generation, winters etc. So battery is needed regardless of what they advertise. It's a combination of solar and battery that helps hybrids. No doubt sometimes it can use just solar but due to fluctuations of generation battery is important.

All these hybrid inverters like inverex solarmax bla bla are made in pakistan and you don't know what their quality standards are. Some are working great but I wouldn't put so much money on a technology that isn't being applied in multinational companies.

No, these are re-badged inverters from companies like Voltronic, Deye etc. They are made in China, just with Inverex etc logo and color scheme on them

What’s the difference? Why would you get on grid that won’t work at all during loadshedding.

But with hybrid 10kw you can later add a medium battery to run at least light loads.

Anyone who has inverter acs, can you please share how much current the inverter acs are drawing after bringing down the temperature? Please mention size of inverter ac and the ampere after the temperature is brought down.

it's common, many hybrid inverters (huawei etc) don't support heavy load in only PV mode

I haven't checked recently, but what I recall is during intense hot days (like today) it would keep working at full amps during the afternoon, because we have a large living room. However, in the evening, it was able to reach desired temp and drop down to 2.x amps.

Same bro. It's always good to cross reference because my ac keeps running at 10-11 amps even if I set it to 29. Room temp comes down to 27 but ac keeps taking 10 Amps even when I've set it to 29. In evening it goes down considerably.

Also my gree acs were causing me weird problems, it might help you guys so detailing them.

So both my gree 2 ton inverters were not taking full amps of 14-15. They would go to 13 amps for 3 minutes at starting and then drop to 8 ampere. This is when indoor temp was set at 16 and room temp was 35.

After going through a lot of hassle and taking them to gree turned out the outdoor condensers were very dirty which was making the ac run at half load.

You guys might want to monitor your amps for inverter acs to check health of acs. Cheers

Yea, That's why every season I self-clean the outdoor units, and a LOT of dirt comes out.

I was doing it with my pressure washer too but the dirt was stuck at the fold of the condenser in outdoor unit
That has to be opened up, separated and cleaned.

Nope. The gree people opened up the condenser and showed me the folded coils inside and it was done from the side opposite the compressor.

Even with 4 hours of daytime loadshedding you will still getting enough energy to export excess to grid. This brings down overall electricity bill at months end. Please see the attachment below with 4 hours of daytime loadshedding. Total energy of day is 35 KWh. Now daytime loadshedding has reduced to 2 hours with first at 7AM and another at 1PM.

10Kw system is good enough to support 3 inverter ACs 2 fridge, deep freezer with multiple lights/fans/chargers and still export excess.

from PV farm style set up any smart installer can divide and rig the panel array(s) to both inverters. When applying for licence the specs of PV Inverter & locally developed Ground (earth) tech data is also required. You need to be specific for PV Bank to Grid Tied and Hybrid distribution.

This is exactly the need of time.

Almost all inverters which are not IP65 are from voltronic power China. Inverex nitrox is from deye China. BTW deye hybrid inverter is premium and feature rich. Its is available in European, US and Australia as well with different brand names.

I was really interested in Deye/Nitrox inverter due to large heatsink and hopefully lower noise. But saw a video online and the person was complaining of fan coming on quite frequently and it was loud.
