complaining of fan coming on quite frequently

cooling fans are connected to a thermal switch over heat sink, automatic on & off just like we have radiator fans in vehicles. loud means the filter is dirty and periodic cleaning is required.

Watch the first minute, its not the dirty filter, the fan itself is quite noisy

New 6KW model is without fan. Not sure about 8 and 12KW ones. I am using 5KW older model. Fan kicks in when internal DC temperature goes above 60C. Normally it remains off

12KW has fans. The problem is in our hot weather and with constant load shedding the DC circuit will be used often and it will get hot and it will create noise at least 50-60% of the time. Also, a noise coming on/off is more annoying then a constant one. Hopefully someone on this forum will buy one and share feedback here.

Why don't you place the 12kw inverter outdoors so the fan won't be a problem.

It's hybrid so batteries would need to be placed outside as well, which isn't good. Plus dust here will ruin everything.

Better idea to have small fans to cool the heatsinks so that inverter's own large fan doesn't come on too often

Don't know about huawei but goodwe has no such restriction that you can't run heavy load without grid. If there is enough PV or battery power it will run on it's maximum capacity when required.

You could put it in some isolated place where you wouldn't hear the fans and could place some sort of a cooling fan for it to regulate temperature.

Govt has abolished all taxes on panels. Is there going to be a major reduction in panel prices?

Some one told you that in person or did you read some thing some where. Please share some reference. I don't see anything about any restriction in their datasheet.

Of course you can't run the whole house on a small hybrid inverter. Video is merely suggesting that you split your loads and only run essential loads on the hybrid inverter. But if you deem an AC necessary you can run it just fine unless the AC consumes more power than the inverter capacity. There is no restriction or any thing by the vendor. You don't overload the inverter that's just common sense.

but Govt doesn't have control over exchange rate. It is highly unlikely for any price reduction (thats' how cartels' operate)

Now if you have problem with source why don't you contact Goodwe because I did and I was told heavy load like AC cannot be run.

You are free to believe what you want. When you install a Goodwe Hybrid inverter or see one running heavy load that's the time I will agree with your analysis. Until then I will believe the manufacturer vs your common sense.

Still if exchange rate is 200 and panel of 650w is retailing 50k and taxes are abolished it should considerably come down regardless of exchange rate. But I agree cartels always skip price reductions
