No, technically I'm using my hybrid inverter as a "generator" only. I have a 2 storied house with 2 separate meters though I'm responsible for providing backup to the other portion in case of power failure.
Since a hybrid inverter cannot work simultaneously with my ongrid inverter, I chose this option. So now when there's a power failure, loads of both portions are switched over to a pre configured reduced load to the hybrid inverter.
