How do these work? Isn't your hybrid inverter in use when Grid power is available?

No, technically I'm using my hybrid inverter as a "generator" only. I have a 2 storied house with 2 separate meters though I'm responsible for providing backup to the other portion in case of power failure.

Since a hybrid inverter cannot work simultaneously with my ongrid inverter, I chose this option. So now when there's a power failure, loads of both portions are switched over to a pre configured reduced load to the hybrid inverter.

Here's another device that I have connected to my electric geyser. Automatically turns the device on / off based on initial programming. Life saver and highly recommended!

Its good depends upon need. I'll recommend wifi breaker for that, you can schedule, also switch on or off on demand, use timer function, and it also acts like voltage protection device and consumption monitoring.
Just sharing my experience.

Yes, I'll shift to wifi / sonoff if i get a chance. Already have sonoff switches / controllers in my house that have automated the lights.

Thats wired. What if your neighbor starts using hybrid on same phase, it is equivalent to that. What was the exact issue?

I used sonoff PowR2 which on paper supports 3500W but it vot melted after an year on 2000W load (geyser).
Eithe use breaker type or if consumption monitoring is not important then basic sonoff with contactor or rely will do.

Have you added the sonoff next to the lights or near the main switch board? The sonoff is a bit big so I’m still to decide where to add it for my test light.

I have Philips hue lights in most areas but they’re a bit expensive and in 9w only so cheaper high wattage dumb lights I want to test on with sonoff.

The hybrid inverter is actually on my neighbours / separate grid line. The issue was that huawei wouldn't accept another inverter on the same line.

I've added the R3 for my gate / garden lights (technically near the lights itself) whereas I've upgraded the switches to sonoff / ewelink supported for other cases, link below :

Need kind advice in selecting best hybrid invertor from Solar max pv9000 and inverex nitrox 6kw,

Both are very good. I'd personally go with solarmax pv 9000+

I've the PV9000+ plus. It's been solid for about 3 months so far. No idea about inverex. I do wish the app was a bit better but that's just the software guy in me nitpicking. It seems solarmax like a few other vendors just license a rethemed version of the same copy paste app from a single developer. The app feels like a tiny final year project.

Guys for iesco can anyone explain how they handle exported units? Ie. Do they expire / every 3 months? Ill be owing wapda some money for Nov Dec Jan and Feb. So I'm wondering how the more productive months will work and if I eg use the exported units from March towards previous months like Feb and Jan?

Both are good. I'm using Nitrox. I'll prefer it due to display and AC coupling feature.

Solar panels had some really bad bird droppings - no amount of power washing or brushing removed it. Ended up using a microfiber mop / mild car wash to finally take care of it.
