Need some suggestion . I am completely novice when it comes to solar stuff .should I get it installed ? Or will it be troublesome for me to get it mantained ? I am looking at solar system that can run 1.5 ton ac well for 5-7hours in summer .whatdo you suggest ? And approximately how much expense will be incurred ?

Below are the pics/specs details of Inverter and Solar panels. & please suggest should I connect 3 panels to achieve 100VDc from PV output, as now 2 panel in a series are connected and I am getting around 64VDC max from PV (Please note total 16 panels of 330W are installed facing south at 40degree)

Maximum VOC Voltage of inverter is 145 Volts DC whereas VOC voltage of Solar Panel is 46.2 Volts so 46.2* 3=138.6 which means that you should make an array of three solar panels or in other words, connect three solar panels in series. Further, you may make total of 4 arrays and connect all of them in parallel to the inverter through some joiner box. To make it easy for you, 330W * 3= 990Watts and 990Watts * 4= 3960Watts as charge controller is of 4000Watts.

if your entire aim is to run air conditioner on AC then you should buy a solar AC, it connects with WAPDA and Solar panels, takes power from solar panels and once sun light is not sufficient then system goes back to WAPDA. Think of it as an Hybride Solar inverter, if energy needed to run from solar drops then it borrows remaining from WAPDA. that way, system is never starved and system does not depends upon batteries.

I visited Solar exhibition in Lahore, where i was very much impressed with few systems and among one of them was solar Air Conditioner. I have witnessed a live demo, price was high around 1 lac and 20,000. But it was an excellent choice for those who wants to run free air conditioners.

I will post the pictures and details later as i would have to search for the seller.

I see .the LG ac that I have bought the dealer was claiming that it runs perfectly well on solar system .but it will only be verified if it is actually run on solar system I guess

i have a single wire inverter connection to selective load in my home ..

as you know in every electrical wiring in common way of every house the neutral will b common single wire connected to the hole load .. ... on the other way ... on inverter or ups we connect our selective load .. i-e 1 fan and 1 light of selective room .. in such case how we done with the double wire .. as we know the neutral wire is common to hole house wiring ...

can we connect the inverter neutral out wire with the wapda neutral wire .. .. kindly describe this .. we all know the house wiring installed concealed ...

You need double wiring for selection. You can spare any cable from Existing wiring for this purpose.

this is how it is done, Neutral of wapda goes into Neutral of inverter.

Neutral of inverter is shorted with input and output of solar inverter. rest, output live wire is run through entire home whereas Neutral point is taken from what so ever switch is available. Hope, you understood as what i am trying to say.

Its easy, i will teach you as how to calculate ROI of solar setup, not in this post but later. As i would have to pull the entire calculations and teach as how one should do for his setup. ROI for my case came out to be 5.5 years.
