total cost was 188000. Included 8000 for stands,10,000 for installation charges.
Inverter 2kv(1600 watts) = 49000
Pannels 250 watt = 31000 x 4= 124000

i bought batteries my self.11000 x 2 =22000

I am running 3-4 fans,3-4 savers and a fridge ( which takes 280 watts,i have calculated from reading of my inverted when all other things were off) and a water motor of half hp takes 300 watts.
this is amazing setup as if the load exceeds the battery comes into play.when load decreases for example motor is off or fridge compressor shuts down that it recharges from solar.

i have installed canhge over switches for my moter and fridge and i run them on wapda in night becoz my battery bank is small.and i dont wanna charge my batteries on wapda,except if load shedding happens at night than the batteries are charged from wapda.

and an advice dont go DIY on this,as there are a lot things and factors,proper configuration making parallel or series,distances,losses etc although it is tempting to save those Rs 18000 but dont do that.
otherwise your panels may be sitting on neighbor roof after a storm

Always go for pure sine wave as applications runs smoothly and no humming of fans as on UPS.and appliances use less watts on pure sine wave than modified.my fan took 150 watts on Ups and now it just consumes 90-100 watts ! so you can see how big difference the pure sine wave will do to you.

Let me allow to compare the real market price for these product. Be aware... all of these good service providers are robbing you with smile and giving you the same product which is available in local market but with 100 lies package after winning your trust.

If you have any doubt its my challenge i will take you to importer who is the actual supplier. remember all the Chinese panels are same only a little difference in branding and cosmetics. Otherwise quality and working is same. But every solar installer company will claim that their panels are number one and no one can match with them.

Solar Max inverter 2kva = 35,000 with one year warranty (Its not Hybrid inverter. Its just a package of PWN charger and inverter)
Hybrid inverter is also available. price is 125,000 for 3000 watts.

Solar power station is a simple DIY and can be done with a local street electrician but if you have a little electrical system knowledge. My free advice is available for all of you whenever u need.

yup i got no space issue,so i think polycrystalline would heve been cheaper solution.another thing to ask,can mono and poly be used togather if MPPt is used? or i am stuck with expensive mono ones foreever

There is no big price difference in Poly or Mono however Thin Film are expensive but long lasting and outstanding result. (Poly 80rs per watt) (Mono 90 rs and thin film 140rs)

Just buy a charge controller and Panels, Connect charger output to ups batteries. Happy

Dont forget to add timer switch(else u will need to do it manually) to turn off utility if pv w is good enough for day load.

Nizam energy poor sales/customer service. I have asked for a price quote several times but they never sent. Why should I expect they will install or sell a quality product or provide a after sales service?

Yup after seeing it get installed i know its no difficult task.about inverter you are very right,its available in 36000. and i am sure you are right about pannels too. as this was little experiment to know the whole system and how it works. Our actual goal is to convert our Hospital to solar which consumes near 20KW daily.Thanks to you and all,this thread has been lot help in learning
and you are very right,its not total hybrid inverter,i am planning to return it and buy 3kw infini hybrid inverter with MPPT bulit in which costs 125000.i am thinking to increase 2 more panels too

And you are right about invetrer,its not hybrid,its just UPs with charge controller and with automatic shifting.why i say it?
because in picture i posted the solar mode in which it bypasses the batteries doest work in this inverter.so what happens is that batteries are being used and charged all the time,if load in more then they start draining and if this happens when sun is going down and PV input is not enough, it doest charge the batteries enough.so at sun set when it shifts to Wapda it charges them from almost zero to full taking lot amperes feom Wapda (which will make wapda bill more and more) and if at that time loadshedding is happening than its blackout in the house
we have suffered this black out once and this is the reason i am returning this inverter back.
So my advice to all is that dont, buy inverters with this menu.(an update,an electrician who installed same 5kv inverter(mine is 2kn,so i think there may be problem with ones using older software) claims that he see the required mode in 5kv inverter,so its upto you guys to confirm it before buying these type inverters)
they will end up your batteries very soon and you may suffer from load shedding as well, inspite of spending so much on solar system. i came to know this problem as my battery bank was small.these companies install a large battery bank so that when sun goes down the backup time is more and so user dont experience this.if company sells you this kindly ask them to return inverter if this mode wont work.(this pic is from user manual of my inverter)

and believe me i tried my best to work this mode,even when batteries were full and on just one energy saver,it did't shift to this mode,so it means at that time all the solar input was being wasted.only this mode happens.

you can see solar input to batteries and than out,not bypassing.at this time load shedding was there so this showing no AC input.this time batteries are not full but same mode continues when they are full..

Instead buy ones with menu looking like this,these are true hybrid inverters.

It does not matter which panel you use,its the number of them to make 250 DC as your inverter starting range is 250.As one panel gives at least 30 volts(actual and least,it can go even 32 when sun to at full) in related current and in open circuit 37 volts(without load).

So to be safe 250/30=8.3 panels.it does not matter whether they are 240 watt or 160w etc just read the volts and calculate yourself.its easy

Try to understand.you have to make atleast 250 volts, kindly visit the shops and see which pannels give highest volts in Vmpp. you can divide 250 by that and you will get number of panels you need to install.and i dont think any combination in 1000 watts pannels will run this inverter. You will need atleast 6-8 panels depending on how much Voc and Vmpp they give

Good news is that Solar city guys have agreed to take back their things and pay the payment excluding installation charges.I have to say that its good thing about their service.as i was not satisfied about the performance of my inverter using batteries all the time.

i did ask them but they have hybrid inverters with MPPT starting from 180000.that is much too expensive.Instead Infini hybrid 3kW is b/w 115000 to 125000.
meanwhile i also want to change the panels from mono to poly as i plan to add panels upto 16. if i stick to mono one it will be very expensive.so i decided to change the whole system now instead of regretting later

All chinies UPS fails, in 1 hours interval load shedding............. All these inverters have high frequency charging system, which sheds the leads plates quickly, Such kind of high freqency charging is best for GEL batteries............

The main advantage of MPPT is that we dont have to install identical panels as with PWM chargers,if we do with PWM chargers than that will downgrade voltage to the panel producing least voltage.so benefit of other panels having higher voltages will be lost.
So lets say today i install some type of panels and after 10 years i want to install more,so in that time that company or panels may not be there so i will find very difficulty in matching the voltages if i am using PWM charger inverter.
But i will not face this problem if i use MPPT.
The performance boost depends upon the quality of MPPT.Its upto 5-30% more than PWM.
PWM just depends on Amperes but MPPT can convert extra volts to amperes too
DC voltage get wasted very much by increasing the distance. but MPPT can cover up the wire loses.
Why i decided to switch to polycrystalline? Because the efficiency difference B/W Mono and poly is just 2%. You may buy a Mono which is not good that a quality Poly.Main point is that Poly occupy some more space.for example in pic below people have limited space on roof tops,so they use mono(although the panels in pics dont look like mono but i am posting just to explain the space issue ) but in our homes we have open roofs and plenty space.
The best are thin films but those are out of my range,so why i should i bother to go for just 2% more efficiency expensive Monos, where i can get 2 extra panels of poly in same price increasing 500 Watts / 14 Amps...

Answer: inverters can be connected to increase the output and can even use same battery bank,
I can divide the load etc so there are many combinations
so upgrading wont be problem
