Salam, I would suggest 2 KVA or 11 KVA AXPERT. It is a Sine wave inverter which works as UPS and can be plugged in with solar too.

Guys suggest a good quality inverter/ups which has good voltage reguation 200-240Volts and is safe for electronics..PC/Laptop/and small electronics..

I installed 3KW Infini recently at my home. Although there are no Fans or ACs running at the moment, my december bill was around rs.4000 while january bill was around rs.1600. So you can see the difference right there. I work at a solar energy solution provider though, I got the system at a good discount

Fix your UPS Battery.

Don’t throw or sell your old UPS or Car batteries for few hundred when you have an option to restore.

UPS/Car battery performance decreases due to sulphation coating on lead plates. To desulfate a lead acid battery use ‘Battery Energizer’ liquid. It removes the sulphur deposits from lead plates and restores your battery like new. You can get Battery Energizer www.gobuy.pk, shipping is free all over Pakistan. I have tried this and it works and also very cheap in cost.

Pantera, the govt recently approved net metering for solar. Any idea when smart metering is going to be actually implemented? What the process is going to be?

Yes, last month NEPRA published an official document stating the plan for introducing Net Metering. In my opinion it'll take around 6 months for the implementation process to start.
Infini has not yet launched the 5KW inverter. As you may know though, they have launched the infini plus which is a 3KW inverter but has the capacity to attach more panels. Up to 4.5KW i.e

I have home age 1202 800watt ups with phoenix 175 battery. both are bought this month. the problem is that the display shows me full battery but when the wapda light fails the first cell on ups display drops with in 5 mins of operation running only 60 to 30 watts. i bought the hydrometer to check the gravity. it was the day of pak vs ind match and the light didn't go for 24 hours so i tested the gravity of battery and it was around 1.240 to 1.235, I thought that it would be around 1.27 now is this right or not??? if not then where is the problem??? is ups not charging well or their is fault in battery? someone told me that we have to charge new battery from battery shops before attaching it to ups. the ups has 2 functions I have adjusted it to 15 amp charging. what to do???

Any ideas on whats going best? Someone recommended that Indian built ones are going good? Any ideas on someone who is really really good at building a desi one near to Garden Town/Model Town area or a company one? Bought Arora couple of years ago and it proved to be useless!

Desi UPS customized and AGS all the way. Got 2 huge ones with 2 batteries for each floor.

Electrician made it in front of me. Running fine. Branded r bad.

Better get a desi UPS made from Imran Brothers Hall road using IB4 or IB9 kit. Desi kits have improved very much these days only need to take care of them. If going with single battery setup then get module of 10+10 75N75 even if your ups is 700 watts. It will not burn easily.

For Battery go for AGS or Phoenix, Exide proved to be useless in past. Branded ups only have only 10 amps charging rate or some good have 10 and 20 volts, while with desi there is full control over charging amps, output voltage, battery cutoff, low battery shutoff settings, overload settings etc...

In branded stuff I think only APC proved good and that too altered from some good engineer to be used with LSA battery. Saw some homage models running good too but most have issues.

i think as my brother nasirjaved have already said about the imran brothers hall road its just output of all the factors and conclusion they are the best and its the best option till date and believe me its the end of every one worries bro do you believe my machanic was asking 4500 to replace a burnt transformer which i changed by new one from them only paying 1200 rupees for the copper one
