I have had aurora 2000va/1200w 24v for 5 year's now, its been trouble free so far, I periodically clean it with blower. My first set of two batteries lasted 22 months (regular lead acid) 2nd set lasted 18 months, and third set barely a year, now is something wrong with ups, does it require service ? Its not giving any indications or warning lights. I admit I have slacked in looking after battery water, I also find batteries heating up and water boil and spill out, (by the stains). Have tried exide, AGS, fb exide so far. Would like to see suggestions regarding ups service, future choice of batteries, regards.

dear if your batteries are showin signs like heatin up or bubbling (ghurup) sound inside from the batteries thn its ovious that the chargin current ov ur ups is very hi ....... if u hv a digital ampere clamp meter then check the chargin current ov ur ups .... it must b above 20 amperes ... n there is never any indication signs for hi chargin current ........ get it checked from ur pak cheen dosti vendor n set the charger to its deafult position ...... orlelse buy an apc ups ...........

I have a APC 2200VA / 1980watts / 48VDC 0.9 power factor pure sine wave UPS available for sale. Its got built in AVR that maintains your voltage even when wapda runs low.

It requires 4 batteries. Its in working condition but currently not in use. I was running the whole house on it but now have separated my workstation to a APC 750 VA and rest of the house to a APC 1500VA.

Looking for RS. 24,000 ONO (or near offer)

Its in perfect working condition and charges at 4x10 AMPs.

That tu meray bhai i don't no cuz i deals in apc ups .. n cant say wot ll b the function ov dat switch ... u better ask the vendor abut it. .. i can nly help u in technical grounds ...

Yes ... only if ur ups is pure sine wave n output voltage on battery mode should be fixed i.e 220 volts. .. apc ups all models hv this ability ....

Which ups will run 1.5 ton rotary inverter based a/c for 1 hr. And recharge enough in three hours to repeat. Nb. I intend to run a/c 24/7.

Currently I have a stabac sb2000 which my parents bought 5 years ago running on 2x 120batteries. I am wondering if its possible to increase the number of batteries from two to four? is that possible or is two the limit?

well ur ups is a 24 v dc ups means it runs with 2 X 12 = 24 volts ... u can't change the dc volts but yes u can change the amperes of ur setup by ... buying two more batteries ov same amperage and join thm PARALLEL to ur currently installed 2 batteries .. so in this scenario ups voltage ll remain 24 volts but amperes ll be increased ... take a help ov ny electrician ov ur area n ask him to connect thm parallel ...
