hi friends

3 week back i overhauled my Honda Generator Engine and run it on petrol for some times but i am facing problem when i turn it on GAS, Generator works fine on petrol take full load.

i start my generator on Petrol and convert to Gas.
when i turn the gas on it start loosing power and turn off.
after 2-3 attempt generator starts in full swing.

but when i turn on my 0.75 ton vertical AC my AC trip due to load.
or
when i turn on suction pump generator turnoff.

earlier both Air condition or suction pump works fine on this Generator.

on the other hand Air condition and pump are working fine on China generator.

kindly help how can i solve this issue.

I bought a ups today its a 700 watt 1kv eco star .should I keep it on wide or narrow voltage setting

Today I bought an ecostar 720 with an osaka 180 battery I wanted to ask somethings before installing it. Can any one tell me should I keep it on wide or narrow and what should be the ampere setting 10 or 20

If u want to use only fans and lights then keeps the ups setting at wide........at this setting ur ups will keep charging battery upto 100V Ac but computer will restart @ wide setting.

Thanks for the reply. So if I want to prolong the battery life by reducing charge time I should select wide mode because on narrow mode it will take longer to charge battery. Is 10 ampere charging fine

There is nothing wrong with the Generator, its just that your generator is built to tolerate certain amount of load. Your AC takes up significant energy int he beginning which the generator tolerates for a certain time and it trips the compressor after a while because thats the generator's capacity.
Try running your AC at 26-27 degrees which might put less stress on the generator. I'd recommend you dont run your AC on generator.
We are Solar energy system provider so naturally I will have negative things to say about Generators and rightly so but its a brotherly advice to either not run your AC on generator or get a bigger Generator. Or simply Go Solar

bros. just thinking of converting my KE running UPS on solar.

from what i understand is that i have to buy solar panels and a charge controller.

my ups is rated 1.5 kva with a thaki hoi locally made battery of (nameplate) 150 ah.

if i install 700 watts panels with a charge controller and connect the battery charging terminals with the charge controller then will the ups inverter will supply power to the loads in day time plus battery will also be charged?

what about the battery charging cables linked with the ups? these will remain isolated or i have to get the ups modified for this configuration?

i understand that this set-up is supposed to work in day time when solar is available and at night time, i have to switch to KE then how battery will get charge??

any bro who can guide me with some schematics...

Sir can my local made ups be used in setup with an MPPT charge controller if yes than how please guide as I want to run 3 fans, TV, cooler and charge batteries on it

Just buy a charge controller and Panels, Connect charger output to ups batteries. Happy

how the actual load will work on solar? i mean should we need to disconnect the grid supply to ups??
