my desi ups finally conked out after six years, looking for a new one.

i went to a shop in PWD, they recommended a volta luminous "sine wave" eco volt 900 va for 13,000/- with two year warranty

(I have no idea what sine wave is)

Is that a good deal?

I have an exide n165 battery.

what do you mean by low torque load and do u think it is going to last longer then simple ags acid battery and going to give more backup time as compared to acid battery with same ampere

Depends on the efficiency of your generator. Because with time, generator's power factor drops so at peak 1.5 inverter AC takes about 1800 watts. If you generator can tolerate that then yes.

Dear experts

I have infini 3kw plus, 2600watt panel (260w x 10). can I run a 1.5 ton AC(non inverter) on it. what are the possibilities ... Starting amp of AC is 13amp then it goes down to 9 to 9.5amp.

Dear All,

is there any inverter similar to infini,
like infini have many features/settings (grid tied with backup, grid tied, off grid)
infini 10kw (3 phase) gives only 3.3kw per phase ......
i require 6 to 8 kw per phase .......
can someone suggest which one is best

Depends. Mostly they are used for same purpose. Some inverter dont have battery charging function in it.

does washing the solar panel damage it, what are the chances of water entering through protective seal and moisturing the cells, how often should we wash the solar panels, weekly, monthly or let the rain do the job for us.

its very dusty at my place and due to dust the performance decreases.
I wash them two to three times in a month to get maximum out of my solar system

asl. can someone share his experience of using 200AH narada MPG battery for UPS and solar .. how is performance as compared to ACME G series narada battery

used PGM battery with UPS and got more then 3 hours bckup for first full charge and load was 21 amperes. still battery had power to run for half an hour but I stopped further discharge below 10.8 volt.. how is performance of this battery as compared to new 175 ah AGS battery
