Another solo ride in SIndh on my beat SUzuki GS 150. One of my most favorite and historically an important place of sindh. Always love to visit this place as its design and architect always inspired me. The Kot Diji Fort (Urdu: کوٹ ڈیجی قلعہ; Sindhi: ڪوٽ ڏيجي جو قلعو;Fort of the Daughter) is a 19th century Talpur-era fort located in the town of Kot Diji in Khairpur. n about 25 miles east of the Indus River at the edge of the Thar Desert. The fort sits above a pre-Harappan Civilization archaeological site dating to 2500 to 2800 B.C.E. Govt and NGOs are taking step to conserve this treasure. You can visit this place through out the year and you will never get bored by visiting it again and again. The sheesh mehal and royal residencies located around fort is worth visitng. these old havelis was once the accomodation of royal talpur families but now only bats and desertion lives there.
Amazing photos, especially the interior artwork. Excellent! Unfortunately it is being deteriorated. Thanks for sharing
