take the car on the road under full power, it should work like a well oiled machine, open n close doors, bonnet and boot - they should have the classic mercedes feel to them.

operate the whole dashboard, everything should work.

make note of noises and vibrations - repair as required.

btw - which engine in the tiny benz?

A total n00b here, if I buy this one it will be my first ever Mercedes so need to know in detail what's the classic Mercedes feel. This particular car has the 1.8 petrol engine and a manual gearbox.

W201 parts are a pain now. Hard to find. We will have to see which parts are needed. I am talking about cosmetics and body parts not mechanical

After seeing your thread, as i am a silent reader of your thread i could not resist to share the pictures of my dad's merc E 200 Model 2005. It is a pleasure to drive Mercedes as he upgraded himself from Honda Civic 2010 model and he was die heart fan of German cars, while he had upgraded to Honda Vezel 2016 model still he said to me that all the cars he had drove till date, the best performance and comfortable was the Merc
