First of all I'm a complete noob when it comes to these springs and coilovers stuff, so please let go of my ignorance. I need a little help/advice from you guys about my Suzuki Swift. A stock ride with just tyres changed from 185 to 195s.

If you guys have noticed the Suzuki Swift is slightly raised from the front. This is how they come out of the factory. I'll attach a picture of the front wheel. The back of the car seems to be in a normal position until someone sits at the back and then the car horribly goes out of shape. Front gets raised further and the back drops even more. 2nd reference picture is with 2 people sitting at the back.

Another thing that should be kept in mind is, there is a woofer, its base tube and an amplifier at the back as well. All these things add somewhat weight as well

Can you guys suggest what can be done in this regard to make it look a little in shape? Also I wouldn't mind a little drop to make it look good but not a drastic drop as it is a daily driver!

Your right bro I also have a swift but sometimes the raised front cones in handy over huge bumps...you can drop it from the front by 1-2 inches by getting japani shocks they are softer then the swifts OEMs....New springs would cost around 10-12k...

The roads on my way to work and back are pretty decent and my daily driving isn't much, say 35 KMs, so surely I can avoid pot holes. The car has to look in shape and I wouldn't mind a little drop as well.

What my mechanic told me was to get the springs changed. If so, springs or coilovers? Don't think its an issue with the shocks.

Yes , this is the problem with the car's height and i've been hating the cars look for the same reason since launch
It doesn't matter if you don't know about lowering etc etc mostly people don't who even those who drive somewhat lowered cars , I've seen people cut OEM springs for a drop :-#
keep in mind you'll loose the current comfort level if your ready to play with your cars suspension , a lot of people have added coil-overs and springs on their swift but I don't have a swift so I cant really tell about the lowered rear end with some load although I've seen some cars lowered on just the springs and those drop the car from the front end more compared to the rear so it balances it out - but they are soft to some extend too , you keep on adding weight they'll keep on compressing
Find out some time and take out the shock assembly from the front end and inspect the springs height after removing it , go to places like Bilal gunj and look for jdm springs , try them if they are different from stock ones. I've seen jdm swift to be pretty stable compared to domestic model
If still not satisfied then add lowering springs with the stock shocks , still if the rear end looses height with load , add a set of spacers at the back accordingly to balance out. Keep in mind lowering springs make the car a bit stiffer so you can expect a little hard steer
I wonder what could be the reason for a raised front end by Suzuki apart from avoiding scrape , either its for a smoother steering or some engineering jugaar :S

I asked around for lowering springs fro 2010-2013 swift and found only maxspeed springs will give 1.5" drop and price for new are 13k..:eek:.I only want to lower the front so Ghar the car looks stable ..What I want to know that can I add Japanese spring on front .they will be soft and lower to make it look more stable..the Japanese shock are available for 700-1000rs per spring....experts need advice...

X is a family car, its AC was giving some problems so I came with the guy to help him out, kab se damagh ki dahi banai hoi thi us ne lolzzz. You can spot it many times a day on Mall road, large black chrome alloys, lowered, 300G premium.
