an adjustable height and stiffness (spring + shock/damper) combo couples to form a coilover, if you can find lowering springs for your car then I would suggest you to go for them - in the end it all depends upon your requirement

After watching this thread for the past 2 years and not being able to lower my own ride....I finally did it...:D.

I had it down to 1 finger gap but it would have been too much for pindi roads..

Extremely cold in gujranwala today n lots of rain. Shes on those Tein coilovers now. Steering is not hard at all.

but we have a mutual friend Hassan Javed (he is actually my brother's friend)

so car is around a finger more dropped when i changed complete front shocks of my mehran with the shock of 660cc Japanese alto (the old one we normally see as taxi now a days :D)
suspension is soft again like as original mehran's and ride is dropped too

Today finally went lower and dropped the car from rear and went even more lower from the front...with RSR springs..not too stiff and not to comfy just about rite..:D...I have about 1 finger gap infront and 1.5 finger gap in rear...
