get it checked by computer, it will tell the error code.
however, it mostly happens due to bad O2 sensor.
removing battery terminals for 5 minutes and fixing them back will temporarily make the light disappear , but it is not a solution to the problem. The light will come back again after a few days / hours , depending upon the problem.
